Broward August 2015

Hello Everyone,

I am new to this site, but I've seen other threads for other semesters for Broward College. I didn't find one for August 2015. I figured this would be a good place to share each other's excitement to (HOPEFULLY!) start the program in August. Let's all support each other on this journey! :)

hey roxii77 you can email nicole at [email protected]. Congrats to everyone who was accepted,my status still say "pre program" but that's because i turn my application in tuesday. Nicole say i will be in the second round of review and my status can take up to two weeks to change.

what does second round of review, does that mean if others push their seats back to january2016, you would be second in line?

do we register for classes for fall ourselves , or do they enroll us in these courses?

The way it was explained to me is that at the orientation session, we'll receive a code. When registration opens up, the code gives us access to the restricted nursing classes. If you want to go to Central for the program, pick the classes that are on Central campus. Once you pick a campus, you have to stick with it for the duration of the program.

It tells you in the email if you were an alternate. They only picked 30 alternates though . Alternates who had a GPA between 2.6 & a 2.79 ...

I'm not sure I think it means that even though its open until all the seats are filled they have to process them in a order and the people who put their application in early are in the first batch of that being reviewed and responded to. I believe that we'll be consider for both august 2015 and jan 2016. But you can call and ask, this is just me guessing.
