Broward August 2015

Hello Everyone,

I am new to this site, but I've seen other threads for other semesters for Broward College. I didn't find one for August 2015. I figured this would be a good place to share each other's excitement to (HOPEFULLY!) start the program in August. Let's all support each other on this journey! :)

Nervousness is definitely kicking in here! South campus here we go! I wonder what we should expect the first day of school. I've got process 1 in the morning and pharm in the afternoon.

This may be a dumb question, but we wear our polo on the first day of lecture right??? :facepalm:

No worries! We do. We wear our polos on regular lecture days with (I think) any appropriate pants. And our scrubs on clinical days

I think I might be in scrubs all.the time ?? How much are the polos ??? I am going to.south campus and I paid $15 for the scrub tops and $20 for the pants and bought the white lab coat I think for like $8 bucks lol

This is our last SCHOOL FREE MONDAY YA'LL.

I'm at a level 10 nervousness. There's excitement too in there somewhere. Lol!

So what supplies are you guys bringing..like a notebook to write notes? Books? I'm sure it'll say on D2L. Just curious.

So let me make sure? Are we wearing our uniform (scrubs) the first lecture day right ?

And I believe yes paper, pencil, pens highlighters, notebooks, some of our Textbooks , etc lol I'm assuming since we have one pharm class it will be huge. !

Yes, for lecture you can wear the polo or scrub top w/ the pants.

Also I'm guessing clinicals Will be in school since we need to take a math test before going to the hospitals.

Hey all, I just returned a small scrub top to the north campus bookstore for those who want to buy it before they get them back in stock. I got my scrubs at the flea market on sample and will be getting the logo put on at the swap shop on sunrise. It's on the first floor of the ac part. I'm wondering if I'm the only one who didn't get the scrubs at the bookstore. Dsw also has the grasshopper shoes (very comfy) on sale for 45. To prepare- I'm starting to read the vital signs chapter today and brush up on some math.
