Broward August 2015

Hello Everyone,

I am new to this site, but I've seen other threads for other semesters for Broward College. I didn't find one for August 2015. I figured this would be a good place to share each other's excitement to (HOPEFULLY!) start the program in August. Let's all support each other on this journey! :)

So exciting...ONE WEEK TO GO.

I have started reading (fundementals book) the vitals chapter, and creating a studyguide of what I think is important from the chapter because the content is somewhat redundant. This reading list is from May..so I believe it will be the same content, just with us more time..thankfully.

Got my scrubs finally at central yesterday. 2 sets.

Hope everyones paperwork is turned in..today is the last day.

Depends on the size. But I am sure they do. They had a good amount.

This may be a silly question. The top of the booklist has two items, Broward College modules and nursing student manual and Handout packet for each course. does anybody know what these are? The girl at the bookstore said she didn't know and that they weren't in the bookstore.

The guy at North Bookstore told me we will get those in class on the first day.

Will we absolutely need the clinical nursing skills and techniques book? Or the clinical companion?

Cause I can't seem to find those cheaper. Idk if at the bookstore they sell them together with the textbook?

No the Clinical Nursing Skills and Tech is a separate book. I got it used at the North book store for $84.75

I rented those paid like $30 and they are due back dec 21 so its pretty cheap.... I used directtextbook . Com
