Broward August 2015

Hello Everyone,

I am new to this site, but I've seen other threads for other semesters for Broward College. I didn't find one for August 2015. I figured this would be a good place to share each other's excitement to (HOPEFULLY!) start the program in August. Let's all support each other on this journey! :)

Did everyone buy the warm up jacket? I went to buy one today and they were out of smalls, the guy said that they weren't getting more in because they were no longer required. I thought they were required? Anyone know?

Hi everyone,

I am new to this thread. I am very excited about starting the program in August. I will be taking Process 1 on M & F at North Campus. I have professor Adeagbo. Please let me know if anyone has heard of this professor and her style of teaching. I am also interested in joining any study groups! Also does anyone know what books we will really need for first semester? I have bought the Perry & Potter and Dosage Calculations book so far. Not sure if we will need Pharm book or any other books. Adeagbo would be Fola. No worries. Ive heard a lot of good things about her.

I also heard we don't need the Pharm book but I got it anyways.

I also got the pharm book and the dosage calculations book even though i heard they aren't necessary. The orientation paperwork we got said something about a warm up jacket but from what I read I understood it was optional.

Im in the process of moving and getting ready for nursing school !! Woww. Anyway, I am only missing the uniform pants, has anyone gotten them from south campus? They were out on Monday .

Hey you guys! Well for the Cox the guy handed me the 5th edition at the bookstore. And the list says the 6th edition so Idk if they're still similar?

And Also would anyone know how much the Clinical skills and techniques book would be at the bookstore if it doesnt come together with the textbook?

Valorebooks.com is a great cheap site where I used to get all my books before I got financial aid. So if you can't find it on Amazon check there or half.com

This may be a silly question. The top of the booklist has two items, Broward College modules and nursing student manual and Handout packet for each course. does anybody know what these are? The girl at the bookstore said she didn't know and that they weren't in the bookstore.

If I'm not mistaken those will be available on D2L the first day of class (for Central campus atleast).
