Brookhaven College Spring 2017

I am hoping to be part of the Brookhaven College Spring 2017 Nursing Class and I want to start a new thread where other potential students can communicate with one another. I am almost done with my pre-requisites. Currently I am working on getting Chemistry and Ethics out of the way. I plan on taking nursing pathophysiology this summer if it is offered.

Any one have any suggestions on how to prepare for the HESI A2? I am also interested in any advice that can help me with my dosage class. I am very nervous about the dosage course since the test must be passed with a 90%. Good luck everyone!

Anyone else already have their interview outfit planned? :D I don't know how I'll survive the next week, just obsessing over every last detail right here.

sure do :yes:- good thing it's in Tuesday...it will be the days following the interview that I'll be a nervous reck!

Got my invitation email today! So nervous and excited! I saw someone mention the writing sample above; I'm going to second their question... Is the professional writing sample something that is done as a part of the interview?

I've heard a few times that the writing sample is done just prior to the interview, and that applicants are allotted 10 minutes to complete the writing sample.

Did y'all get confirmation emails after you told Ms. Baker what interview time you wanted? I responded with my selection a few days ago and haven't heard anything since.... Kinda nervous to follow-up since the invitation email from Ms. Summers specifically said not to email her more than once...

Ahhh what to do?!

Yes she responded with a confirmed time

I would call or email again. Its neen a week. She respnded that day.

Oh wow, alright then! I had already drafted an email, just sent it off. I figure if I don't hear something by noon-ish on Monday then I'll call them.

I'm probably going to grab coffee in the morning and mosey around the building awhile before the interview just to be 100000% certain I'm there on time. That's the upside to being scheduled at 8:30 am!

How's everyone feeling ? Extremely nervous waiting now, felt nervous in the interview but I did all I could. Hoping we see something Fri or Monday. Based off prior years emails I believe they let the students know a little early.
