Hello everybody! It's a little early, but I thought I'd start a thread for the Brookhaven Spring 2015 start date. How's everybody doing? :)

I know. I think everyone's just so busy with classes, finalizing applications, and life!! :) I took the HESI last week, and I'm chugging through the Dosage calc modules. Two modules left, thank goodness. What's the final dosage test like? Are they all those math questions (fill in the blank) or are there other questions as well? Getting kind of stressed to finish that to finally submit the application hopefully by the end of this week!!

Wow you did well in Hesi! How many points you will have when you apply?

I should have 32.19 pts so I'm feeling pretty good about it. My HESI score was definitely the big boost I needed, I seriously almost cried when I saw my score at the end lol...

Yes, it's exactly like that. Some multiple choice and a lot of fill in the blank. I can't remember how many questions it was, but it took me like 2 1/2 hours to finish I think. It wasn't that hard but just take your time. Lots of little spots in conversions that can trip ya up if you try and rush.

Before the interview, there's an essay that needs to be written and you are given 10 minutes to hand write it. I was curious if anybody had heard about any topics from other semesters?

I saw the professional writing sample portion listed with the interview and have been wondering what that meant. Thanks!

Thanks MJ! I just took the dosage test, and yeah it took me over an hour trying not to mess up. So happy I passed on the first attempt. I completed the application packet and will submit it tomorrow. Yeah!! Your score is awesome MJ!! You are totally in!! I am so thankful I've completed everything by the deadline!! Now just waiting and finishing up the fall semester...

First try, that's great! I missed it by one question my first shot. This waiting process is definitely gonna be a killer!

I wish I were as lucky as you guys in regards to the dosage calculations module! I just took my 2nd attempt at the exam and was in the high 80's. With only one shot left, I am freaking out!!!!!!!!

Just take some breaths and take your time. I slowed waaaaaaay down my second time taking it because the mistakes I had made were silly little ones from trying to rush. It took me 2 1/2 hours to finish it the second time but it was worth it. Good luck!

Thanks MJ! Yea, I definitely slowed down and read through everything to make sure I was answering the question specifically. Not sure what else to do from this point! I am super scared to go for the third attempt. But, thanks for the advice! I appreciate it! :)

Try to relax. I'm sure you went back and looked over the incorrect answers. You'll do great! Good luck!!

Why the waiting is taking forever. I am so eager to know if I will get interview. Lol sucks waiting :(
