Brookhaven College Nursing Program Fall 2014

Hi everyone, I haven't seen any thread about BHC Fall '14 so I made one! I am applying this February at Brookhaven community college for Fall 2014. I took Hesi last year for trial and I will be taking the Hesi for real again this February and I have been studying really hard this Winter break! Goodluck everyone, if I do not get accepted I have plan B which to go ahead and try to apply in UTA.

Almost finished in all precourses needed just Micro and death dying this Spring but they are not counted this application so I am hoping to do well in Hesi!

Does anyone know when success camp is usually scheduled?

I believe my interview group was told that it's around the week right before classes start...2-2 1/2 days or so.

Well I have officially declined Brookhaven offer and will be going to tccd. Best of luck to all of you.

Does anyone know if they contact alternates as people decline offers or if they wait until the last day people have to accept or decline?

I am just seeing this, but look forward to meeting some of you in the Fall. I wish I had seen this during those weeks of waiting. This was my first application but I only applied to Brookhaven so I didn't have a plan B other than try again. Luckily it worked out well. I wish we started sooner because August seems so far. I'm sure it will go fast and then we will be wanting it to slow down. Those of you choosing other programs, good luck and congrats.

When I emailed accepting my position, Nancy told me we would receive some more information by email in a few weeks. Today is the last day to accept or decline, so maybe they are waiting to have the class confirmed.

Does anyone know what the days/hours are for the nursing program ? Just curious what our schedule will be like ???

I believe classes and skills labs are Monday-Thursday. Clinicals are different for every student. This is what I was told by a current student in the program so I am not for 100% sure.
