Thought I'd start a forum for those who are applying for Brookhaven's ADN program Fall 2018. Has anyone started on these particular things? --->

-prerequisites

-HESI A2

-online nursing information session

-critical thinking exam

-dosage calculations class

Will we complete a professional writing sample on the same day as the interview? And what is it like?

Yes. It will happen before the interview. You have 10 minuted. I was told to bring a good pen. They will give you a piece of paper with a prompt and then leave you to write for 10 minmutes and collect them when time is up.

NatHorton, I saw your message and i have to reply back on here. Im not sure how many people are in the duel program. At the time I turned in my application she said i was the only one at the time. When i looked at the classes for the fall for first semester, i saw that there are 2 seats already taken, so me and someone else. I not 100% sure though and i hope I'm wrong because that would be one of us has a Saturday clinical and i would hate that! haha!

George12, Barbara sent an email to me with the new application deadlines and dates. It says April 27th: candidates will receive an e-mail regarding their admission status by 5pm. May 2nd: By noon, candidates must e-mail the administrative assistant indicating admission acceptance or regrets. :)
