Hi I am in Texas , moved here jan06 from Scotland has taken all this time to get work authorization ss number etc, waiting for the all clear from the texas licensing board to sit my nclex. All my experience is in Midwifery in the u.k . Anyone here from the u.k sat Nclex what did you think, I am using kaplan, saunders princeton for studying getting between 60-70% consistantly correct is this ok? Just dont want to fail and put off working even longer!
Any tips or advice thanks
i would agree with that, thats how i did it and i passed first time too, every question i got wrong i reviewed until i was getting good scoresi find the books long winded to just read through
That is what I did and then did loads of questions on my weak areas...i ended up with a lot of priority questions when I did it, cant remember much more as it was a long time ago now!!! hehe!
Yep me too I just did practice questions after practice questions. I did a 100 at a time and brought my practice score up from the 60's to the late 80's. OGP said if you consistantly get more than 75 you will pass.
www.learningext.com was great for me but I didnt need the 13 weeks I paid for just the smaller time would have done
