thank you so much! I’m trying LOL. honestly looking to just get in somewhere at this point. we will all get through this! I hope we will all be together in the fall.
I only applied to BCC. I attended one semester at Brockton 5 years ago and I was a few points away from passing the semester. My brother was killed in a motorcycle accident two weeks prior to the start of the semester. He was only 36 and our mother died one year and a week prior to him at 56. I cried every day for a year after my brother's death. And I remember getting very overwhelmed with grief on a clinical day and my professor tried to console me. The drive from new bedford was very tolling on me and they didn't take many of my credits from bcc so I was in allot of classes. not a good time for me to be in nursing. I needed to take a break and prepare myself and my family.
Even now I don't think I could go back to brockton. The travel, crazy traffic and sitting in classes 4 days week and clinical one day was just allot. I am a single mother of 4 and a home owner.
Really hoping I get in to BCC but I've also told myself if not this year I will take another year to prepare and possibly apply somewhere else if I can.

Awwww I’m so sorry❤️
my mothers suffered from 3 strokes and a subdural hematoma and that’s why I got into nursing. I started my nursing career at 19 working in the ICU as an aide and fell in love with it

There won’t be a next year, you got it in this one. Your experience in the medical field gives you such a big advantage, and you know what it’s like to struggle. I can’t imagine having gone through 1/4 of that. I hope we’re in this cohort together, I’m sure I’d learn a lot from studying alongside you. And everyone else here too, to be clear.

you got this and this is the year you begin your nursing career!
is anyone checking all day? I just got off work and can’t sleep because of the anxiety but too lazy to keep checking LOL
I was thinking about emailing admissions to see what’s going on. just to see if they tell you any different. I noticed my advisor changed in degree works. I’m not sure if this is a sign we might see something today or if my advisor just left but I just spoke to her like last week so it has changed within the last week. lmk if this has happened to anyone else
