Bristol Community College Fall 2014

U.S.A. Massachusetts

Hi! I'm applying to BCC for fall 2014 and am looking to see if there is anyone else out there doing the same. My application is in and I am taking the TEAS test this weekend - so nervous! Don't know what to expect. Any insight?

I'm taking Chemistry this semester, so I called the school and asked if it would help if my Chem professor sent them my grade as of now, and they said yes. They also said that they would be accepting people all the way up until the first week of school in the fall, so if you are in a similar situation you could drop off the transcript at the end of this semester and they will add it to your application. If you aren't taking a class you may need or want to get a better grade in, you could even take it this summer, and drop it off for them to review.

Thats good to know uskurrrd thanks for sharing! I am going to still keep my fingers crossed that I will be okay but if I don't hear good news or have yet to hear anything by summer class sign up or start time I may consider taking the chemistry then. Other then the chemistry grade I seem to be in really good shape GPA wise and requirement wise. (fingers crossed) My plan as of now is to take micro this summer, is anyone else on here planning to take it this summer also?

I think you will be fine with the chemistry grade you have now :) I have a really good GPA, honors society, Phi Theta Kappa, and my TEAS score isn't bad, but could be better. I will also be graduating with a science-transfer degree this June, so I hope I have a chance, but I know they really want you to have chem completed, so I can't wait to rush them my grade after this class is over!

Thats awesome sounds like you should be good also :) My TEAS score isn't bad but def could be better, which is why I was glad when I spoke to them and they said the score doesn't have any impact they just look to make sure you passed it. I just want to know ahhh the wait is KILLING me lol!

It's killing me too, lexbeex!!!

It's killing me too

Good luck everyone! I graduated this past year and I found out by looking at my unofficial transcript on accessbcc and it said my major was nursing. The day they mail out the letters they update the website. So you will see it first online and then the next day you will get it in the mail. For me it was a Friday, so I got the letter on a Saturday. Not sure if it's always a Friday. I only had to do the 2nd year because I did the LPN to RN bridge program. As far as I know every time someone looks at your info the audit date changes. They usually start at the top and look at the 4.0 students first and then go backward from there. They also look at your grades for A&P, so those may be classes to retake if you got a B or less in it. Good luck!

Congrats to you on your graduation. I've decided not to look anymore online, it just gives me more stress looking. Just keeping my fingers crossed at this point ;)

Congrats Sheryl18 and thank you! It must feel really good to have completed the program :) Any insight or tips for once we are accepted into the program? LOL

As soon as anyone gets anything in the mail or if they notice a change in their major on-line please tell the rest of us. This wait is torture. lol

You know it XLucky7X LOL and I am sure one of us will notice right away since we are all crazy and check it ten times a day haha! (I mean that in a really good way)
