Bristol Community College Fall 2014

U.S.A. Massachusetts

Hi! I'm applying to BCC for fall 2014 and am looking to see if there is anyone else out there doing the same. My application is in and I am taking the TEAS test this weekend - so nervous! Don't know what to expect. Any insight?

I'm only taking intro to nutrition

I am also taking history this semester. I saved it for one of my lasts because I was dreading it! However, I have a teacher who I really like and is making it as painless as possible. I am also taking a&p 2 and child development. Did any of you take ***** ***** for psychology?

I'm taking micro and child development. I might drop child development though because I don't like the teacher's style - too focussed on social work style and early intervention. I'd rather take it with someone who actually focusses on a child's physical and mental development.

Yeah I hear you. My child development teacher seems really nice but doesn't seem very clear on what will be on exams and is kind of all over the place so I am a little nervous and worry about keeping my GPA where it is at. But other than that I am really enjoying my other two classes.

I can tell I'm going to have a hard time with history. I have a hard time focusing on it because I really don't like it that much.

Lexbeex - by any chance is your CD class on wed am in NB? That's my class. I didn't go today. On the fence about dropping.....

No I was originally in that one but last minute switched to a class in Fall River on tuesday evenings. I am finding the lectures interesting so far and have been taking a lot of notes but just worried about the exams she said she does not review and they are based up like 5 or 6 chapters which worries me. I was also very worried about history because I usually dread it but thankfully the professor is awesome and is actually making it interesting. Are you taking West of the world 1 or 2? I am in 2.

Hi everyone! I also applied into the program. I'm so anxious and can't wait to find out if I got in. I'm graduating from Massasoit in June with science-transfer degree so If I don't get accepted into a program, I have to figure out what I'm going to do. This process is so stressful! I wish everyone the best of luck, and I hope we all get in...FINGERS CROSSED :)

I took History I last semester. It was ok - boring, but ok. Grade was based on 4 papers. I don't know what I'm gonna do about CD. I'll prob give it a couple more weeks.

I wouldn't worry too much about CD. I don't think you have to take it before you start the program.

Welcome uskurrrd! Thank you for the well wishes and I hope the same for you and it looks like we are getting together a little group to chat about our stressful predicament.

TuukkaRN i hate the not knowing what to expect feeling it definitely stresses me out lol

XLuckyyx I have been telling myself that to but I am trying my best to have all my courses done by the start of the program with the hope of getting right in =) (fingers crossed)

Hi everyone. I applied this year and hoping this is my year, i was on the waiting list last year, so i took more classes to get a better GPA, keeping my finger crossed for everyone...
