Is anyone waiting for acceptance letter for Fall 2010? Do I have a good chance with a 3.9 GPA & an 80% TEAS scores? I am so nervous now.

to be competitive you need to have an A in both A & P. A or B in everything else. Micro can be taken while in the program but must be completed before NUR 51.
I believe they have finally put up the sheet that explains this all on the website.

How's the nursing program? I've read earlier posts from you, bebahloo, when you were waiting to hear if you got in. Congrats on getting in!!
Thanks for the info on Micro. I really want to get A's in both A&P classes and no less especially since it's so competitive.
Thanks everyone for your posts - I truly appreciate it!
lwhitford28, are you in A&P1 now? How's it going? Do you just need A&P1 and II to apply?
I'm hoping to take A&P II in the summer if they are offering it and then just take Micro in the fall since I'd have to wait anyway to apply for 2011.

The actual only prereqs for the nursing program are
ENG 11,
BIO 33 (A&P1)
and PSY51
The rest aren't required to be considered for admission. I am taking a&p1 right now.
I'm thinking of the courses that are supposed to put you in a better competitive spot than just taking the few actual pre-reqs.
When I went to the seminar the Dean said 10 courses and whoever you asked had different courses. The ones that were listed on this thread make sense.

Guys those classes I took, so go with lwhitford28's information. You can choose other classes for elective.

Just go to the school's website and look at the course catalog.. It's on page 112 under health sciences. All the information is right there.
Thanks!
bebahloo,
I just got a letter from BCC, it said ".... $200 non-refundable registration deposit in order to secure their place in the program...." Did I get accept from BCC or what?
