Bristol Community College (BCC) Nursing 2021

Published

Hi all,

I wanted to create this thread for students applying to BCC's program for Fall 2021. How are things going for everyone in the current climate? Please feel free to share your thoughts, experiences, etc. Former/current students, do you have any insight to share?

Looking forward to hearing from you!

900 applications not 900 qualified. They mentioned this in my health info session. More than half I think they said about 500 that year, weren't qualified and were missing requirements or didn't meet the minimum TEAS and/or GPA.

I think they accept 100? 75 traditional and 25 ehealth. My class was 96 at the beginning I think due to people dropping days before we started

Correct

What was the GPA range/average for your class if you remember?

The first time I applied (2 years ago) a friend of a friend got in, and had a lower GPA than mine. I’m not sure how or what happened there but I was bummed.

I don't know the GPA range for my class, just the handful who had a group here. The lowest pre req GPA on allnurses was like a 3.7 I think? But if you go back I linked our page

No not that I know of ? it's just cutting close to the time I have to give the other school my fee. And I don't want to make a decision until I hear from bcc or I lose my money that I really could use on something else .

Ohhhh man I would be stress to! So what u gonna do

I'm giving bcc until the 26th, if I haven't heard anything yet then I'll pay the fee. If I get an acceptance letter from bcc later than I'll end up eating the $200, and I'll have to come up with more money for bcc

Hey, did you get into Laboure? How much is it to accept BCC?

I did, the fee is $200 to hold my spot in the next semester and my spot in the nursing program that starts in January. Cause the fall semester is full.

That’s awesome but I hear you it’s expensive but we have to do it unfortunately. I’m picking extra at work Just for Nursing School
