Bristol Community College (BCC) Nursing 2020

Updated:   Published

Hello everyone! I am creating this forum in hopes to connect with other pre-nursing students who will be applying into BCC's program for Fall of 2020! What are your grades and TEAS scores? Also, current/former students, do you have any advice or insight on the program?

I look forward to hearing from you!

Hello everyone!

I scored an 82 on my TEAS and have a 3.95 in prerequisites, 3.96 overall gpa. I applied for the EHealth as my first choice. The waiting drives me crazy!

Awesome! Ehealth is my first choice too. The wait has been killer hasn't it?! I can't stop checking my degree works like a mad man.

I check Degree works every day! It somehow opened directly into a "What-If" of nursing that I had made and I almost cried when I realized I still had to wait!

I wanted to do eHealth but it's more competitive since there are less seats available. It looks like I made a good choice since most of you have higher GPA's than me. I have a 3.89.

Admissions told me that the only way I could get my second choice "eHealth" is if someone in eHealth put "traditional" as their second choice and wanted to switch.

I know that we won't get an answer until mid to late February but I do the same, I check my degree works everyday.

Tell me if this sounds like what yours said, my advisor made it sound like If you get picked to get in it all goes in the same pool. Like they admit the first X amount of students and the first 20 or 50 or so (I forget how many e-health spots there are) may get their first choice but when E-health fills they offer you traditional. Its not an e-health pool and a traditional pool

Does that sound right/Make sense?

I was told to apply for the program I preferred (e-health) and to put the other as my second choice. I was also told that there are less slots for e-health (I believe they said 24) but also a lot less applicants for it.

February 1st, the countdown begins. The suspension is killing me. I think this is going to be a long few weeks.

I know. I have been checking DegreeWorks everyday lol.

This is exactly what I was told too.

Y'all I'm checking degree works too much! Also waiting to hear back from another program too and I should find out this week. *crossing my fingers*

Where will you go if you get into both?

I applied on October 1st, and it has been a long few months. I cannot wait for these letters and am refreshing degree works daily (even though I'd prefer to find out via letter I cannot help myself.)

TEAS was a 77.3 and GPA is 4.0

I wish everyone luck and hope were together in class soon! Any hybrid applicants?
