Bridging Program in Australia

Hi. I am new here. I don't know exactly where to go. I am a registered nurse here in the Philippines and I am interested in studying in Australia for a bridging course that will help me become a registered nurse there. I need some help on looking for a good school that offers a bridging course.

My aunt told me that a friend of her friend just went to AU to take up a test and in 6 months she's there for a bridging program. and I have this friend who has a friend who became a registered nurse in AU in 6 months time too. This agency is offering me to study for a certificate III aged care with occupational English test for 46 weeks in Einstein College but it costs too much. So now, I am trying to look for a school wherein I can apply by myself and hopefully get in. I am hoping I could leave for AU this June 2011. I am a bit lost on what to do. Can you help me, please? Any suggestions? ? Please help me. Thank you very much. :clown:

(Sydney area would be better since my parents are more familiar and in favor of that place... though other cities/areas will be great too)

Did you get an offer letter from aaon already? When were you interviewed?

interviewed last week. they gave me a deadline to accept the offer until end of the month. hard to decide right now as i was not expecting a dec intake. you?

I'll know tomorrow. They messaged me of the outcome tomorrow. What date did you get interviewed? I was interviewed last October 18th.

19. will mull over it tonight and then decide tomorrow. couldn't really focus on it as i was tending my sick mom last night and then had to work am shift this am. i thought i was in for the feb intake.

no idea. i will ask them if a jan or feb intake is possible. have you had an offer?

hi jems! It was alright. Yes, I've got my result within the day but they haven't issued the letter offer yet. Just relax and study about medical surgical topics. They asked me about respiratory diseases, CRF, DM and one situational question. Good luck Jems! you can do it! :yes:

It was only the interview result that was e-mailed to me and according to them they will send me the letter offer soon. I am still waiting for it, but I might consider accepting the offer of ETEA.

Hello All,I am a neophite in here. Can anybody tell me if do we need a valid IELTS result up to the completion of the BP? I received my LOE last july 19 but until now i dont have a school yet. My IELTS will expire on May 28, 2013. I am desperate to enrol before the IELTS expire but I think there is only a tiny hope that I can get through this. Hope to receive ideas from you guys. Thanks in advance :-)
