  1. Well a bridging visa is something you can request in the embassy if you want your visa to get extended. I think you can apply that by saying your waiting for your registration number to be released or waiting for your visa to be converted into a 457. That's what my friend told me about a bridging visa. Haven't been on that stage though still waiting for my 456 to get released. Hehehe
  2. Not yet, I've just lodged my visa yesterday, I'll wait for their go signal when to take my medicals.
  3. Hi thaimidwife! How was your experience in aaon? Did they offer assistance in job placements? How was it?
  4. I think the difference between the two is the longevity of ones stay in Australia, the 456 Is shorter compared to the student visa. Well I think there is a bridging visa you can get after the 3rd month because we have to wait for our registration number so it could give us time to scout for a job if ever we haven't found any during the 3 month stay. Well there is really no assurance, but I guess we just need to take a risk in order to figure it out. :)
  5. I lodged the 456 visa cause I think it could be received the fastest. Keeping my fingers crossed.
  6. Thank you so much. I hope I'll get it in time.
  7. The 456 visa. Is it true you can get it in two weeks?
  8. Hi! How long will it take for the visa to be processed? Is it true you can get it in 2 weeks time?
  9. Hi strawberry, well ill probably do it next week? Cause it's the holidays, gotta enjoy the holidays while I still can, cause November will be a stressful month I think. Lol. Congratulations!!!!
  10. I'm sure we will get the visa on time. I haven't resigned from work though. Gonna do it by next week. Anyhow, with regard to the accommodation. I'll definitely think about it. :)
  11. I will actually. Cause I don't know anyone dandenong, ruefully to say. So I guess my only option is to avail what they offered. But I'm more scared of the visa processing. I hope it will be finished in less than a month's time. How bout you fayee?
  12. It does fayee. I hope we will be able to beat the deadline. We can beat this!!!!! See you at aaon!!!!
  13. I am for the december intake!!! :) will your friend avail the accomodation package of aaon?
