Bridging Program in Australia

World Registration

Published

Hi. I am new here. I don't know exactly where to go. I am a registered nurse here in the Philippines and I am interested in studying in Australia for a bridging course that will help me become a registered nurse there. I need some help on looking for a good school that offers a bridging course.

My aunt told me that a friend of her friend just went to AU to take up a test and in 6 months she's there for a bridging program. and I have this friend who has a friend who became a registered nurse in AU in 6 months time too. This agency is offering me to study for a certificate III aged care with occupational English test for 46 weeks in Einstein College but it costs too much. So now, I am trying to look for a school wherein I can apply by myself and hopefully get in. I am hoping I could leave for AU this June 2011. I am a bit lost on what to do. Can you help me, please? Any suggestions? ? Please help me. Thank you very much. :clown:

(Sydney area would be better since my parents are more familiar and in favor of that place... though other cities/areas will be great too)

I am still waiting for my AHPRA decision letter. Hopefully i can make it for the intake on June.

hope you'll receive it soon...

Hi, I am also enrolled in June batch at IHNA Perth campus. I think we will be classmates :)

Hi, did you have an interview before receiving an offer letter from ihna? I have sent to them my requirements for the enrolment, but it's been a week and i haven't heard from them. I don't know as to when should i be paying for the downpayment. I heard from my friend who had her BC with IHNA that there is an interview but that was few years back. I don't know if they still conduct an interview and i am so anxious now. I hope you could enlighten me about these things. Thank you

Hi pam, I'm doing the bridging program at IHNA Perth Campus in June. Are you enrolled for that intake as well?

Hello, may i know from where you found your accommodation? I am having 2nd thoughts on getting the ihna accommodation for 600. Thanks

I need help on how to start the visa application. Can anyone here help me what documents do i need to upload on immi account? Is it okay to just scan my original document and upload it on the website? I am planning to apply on my own but i honestly dont know the process.

Hi! I'm for the July intake with IHNA Perth. They didn't interview me. After complying with the documents and filling up an online application in the student portal, they will send you an offer letter and invoice. This is when you could pay the downpayment. Only when they confirm that they received the downpayment will you secure a slot. I call them every now and then after each step just to follow up. :)

Hello all! Does anyone know if it is possible for me to get a copy of my immigration medical results to comply with the bridging school's immunization and serology requirement? I'm hoping to save some bucks by not doing double serologies. Can someone shed some light on this? Thanks so much! :)

I asked my friend in australia to call ihna today to follow-up for my application, she said it's holoday there. Probably it's the reason of delay from their side. I just hope my admission officer would reply to me the soonest. Btw, have you completed already your vaccination and serology for ihna? Any advice on what i should do first? Thanks
