Bridging Program in Australia

World Registration

Published

Hi. I am new here. I don't know exactly where to go. I am a registered nurse here in the Philippines and I am interested in studying in Australia for a bridging course that will help me become a registered nurse there. I need some help on looking for a good school that offers a bridging course.

My aunt told me that a friend of her friend just went to AU to take up a test and in 6 months she's there for a bridging program. and I have this friend who has a friend who became a registered nurse in AU in 6 months time too. This agency is offering me to study for a certificate III aged care with occupational English test for 46 weeks in Einstein College but it costs too much. So now, I am trying to look for a school wherein I can apply by myself and hopefully get in. I am hoping I could leave for AU this June 2011. I am a bit lost on what to do. Can you help me, please? Any suggestions? ? Please help me. Thank you very much. :clown:

(Sydney area would be better since my parents are more familiar and in favor of that place... though other cities/areas will be great too)

One more thing. The school letter of offer from the institution you plan to have your bridging has more weight than what worries you right now.

Guys! who here applied for travel visa for the IRON program? Would really love to find out if my mom can sponsor me since i quit my job and cannot declare that i'm employed. would it be enough to supply a bank statement and certificate from my mom's account and an affidavit of support? and does anyone have an idea as to how much the account should have deposited? My mom makes around 40+k and has 150k currently in her account. Would that be enough?

Also, I want my wife to come along. She's currently unemployed. Her reason for applying for a visa would be to accompany me and to tour as well. Would that be enough for a visa grant? We will be leaving our daughter in the care of my parents for the meantime and she is currently paying for a car under her name. Would those be enough reason for the consul to believe that she will come back to the Phil?

Please please please.. I hope someone can help. I start at IHNA on June 20th and I have yet to send my visa application. :(

Hi Nlmc, sent you email, days ago did you receive it?

Hello everyone, is there anyone here currently on the Monash online BG?

hi Juju73

I'm hoping by chance you're registered in Monash University for September 2016 intake because I'm planning to get registered in the same university though I haven't received the recommendation letter from APHRA. I'm somehow anxious as I did not seek help from agency, although my friends guide the from start of processing.I would like to meet new friends who will start bringing program in Monash this September. Thank you. God bless

Good day!

I am planning to apply for a BP course in Lonsdale. Sadly, I am thinking of availing Philman's services. Do you think its worth it? I have valid IELTS and 2-3 years of experience. How much chance do I have in landing a job after the program?

Hi guys! I decided not to go with Philman because of the negative feedback about them. By the way, I have started collecting my documents for APHRA and I would like to enroll in Monash University. :) I am hoping that I could join their November intake. Anyone who is on the same boat? Just one question, for the course description do we need to request a separate document for that, or would the TOR itself suffice?

I've sent a course description along with my TOR and RLE. School can provide you the course description so I suggest request now, just to be safe, and so as not to cause any delay in your application.

I'm still waiting for AHPRA's recommendation and hopefully to get registered in Monash this September intake.

Hope all goes well with your application.

Hi everyone! Immensely helped by all these forums, did all thru your help and received my LOE 2 days ago.

Just a bunch of questions guys, please...

Do you have any idea if I can start my vaccinations as early as now? I'm currently working in a hospital, everything is free for the staff incl. vaccinations. I mean, is it possible to take my lab screenings and vaccinations anywhere and ahead of time? Thank you! I haven't sent any applications to any school as of yet, I'm still researching about them ;)

Any insights or facts about La Trobe and ACN? I am actually eyeing on Monash.. However, I think the online course will not really suffice or I have no idea how I should undergo it (home country or oz), anyone who has been thru their BP? Can you share any insights? I really want to get the student visa, and since monash and deakin are the possible schools who will help me be eligible (as i've read), I really don't have a choice since Deakin has only one intake and I have no idea if I can get a student visa in La Trobe. Otherwise I have to settle for SC600. Thank you in advance guys! :D
