Bridgeport hospital school of nursing fall 2015

Published

I'm looking for anyone who is applying to this school this year. Please let us know when you applied and any progress you make to getting accepted. Good luck to everyone!

I applied in early Dec. and decided to to retake the TEAS test before sending it for review. Form what I understand it takes anywhere from 2 weeks - 2 months to get accepted or not. Past experience has said more like the 2 months is the norm. I should be getting my results from the TEAS test today and it will be promptly moved to review next week (1/19/15). I will confirm the date when it actually gets sent.

I will update any progress as I get it.

Anyone got any good news.... Still no news for me... Don't know how long I can take this....:crying2:

Any status change for anyone? Hoping for good news for everyone this week :)

Hi Everyone,

Just thought I would share my story to maybe help some people out! I applied to BHSN last year and received a rejection letter within a week of my status changing to application under review. This time around my status went to application under review on March 4th and my decision letter was sent May 7th. I received my letter today and I was ACCEPTED to I am super excited about that! I called admissions many times during the 2 months I didn't hear anything and they assured me that everyone would know their fate within the next 2 weeks so keep your heads up and hopefully I'll be meeting some of you at orientation!

Congrats brpanaroni!!!! Thanks for sharing your story!!!!

Congrats brpanaroni!

Well guys, Ive been checking sonisweb course info regularly and over the weekend it showed 80/150 students (accepted I'm assuming) and as of today it shows 95/150!!! Omg! Sooo sad, Im not sure how accurate this is as I was told the day I took teas that they only accept 120 students. If that's the case there's only 25 seats left! Wahhhh!!! Hope the rest of us waiting find out soon!!!:(:nailbiting:

KellyH, was it one of the school reps. that told you they only accept 120?

For those of us still waiting or have been waitlisted - there is still hope...some people may decide to change their minds later on or unforeseen circumstances may prevent them from attending the program - we'll just have to wait and see, but don't lose hope, not just yet!

Yes, I took the test at BHSN. Before we started they answered questions we had, and that was one she specifically said they only accept 120 for safety issues. She said that's all they can (or are allowed) to accept being that building/ classroom space is limited.

Mind you, this is what we were told. Not sure if they've changed their decision since then, this was back in January.

That's a disappointment...30 more students could have gotten accepted if that is the case...

Now, I'm really nervous - still haven't received my letter. It was supposedly sent out on May 7th - shouldn't take this long....:arghh:

I know I'm still anxious to know my decision! Idk how it will work since Ive been waitlisted? Will they review again? Who knows, I'm assuming they'll send out all acceptance letters first then go from there if there are any seats that are given up then maybe they'll notify those that were waitlisted to see if we are still interested!??!

Based on previous posts from people who were waitlisted years prior, seems that is what they do-contact the people who were waitlisted and see if they are still interested.

Well then, I shall wait a little longer!!!
