Boston College DNP 2021

Published

I know there's a thread for the last Master's cohort but I don't believe there's one for those of us applying for the DNP cohort? Figured I'd start one.

I'm retaking some science classes to help my GPA a bit so I opted out of the Master's cohort to allow myself more time to complete them. Anyone else applying for the DNP program?

Has anyone heard any updates yet? I havent seen a thing since my application went complete.

Does anyone know if there is a separate application for finanical aid?

I know that when you receive your acceptance letter, you also will receive your financial aid award. During the interview, I was told to apply using FAFSA as well as the separate BC nursing scholarships.

Hi, accept for the letter, have you received anything else from BC?

Well, that was a fairly fast interview, even with my own questions! I think mine was 15 minutes tops. Of course, I won’t disclose any questions to keep the integrity of the process, but it was consistent with prior comments about BC’s interview process. Good luck, everyone!

Are you direct entry path? I havent heard anything back. I'm guessing that's not a good sign if so. ?

If you mean BSN to DNP, yes. Decision letters won’t be sent until BC decides on the cohort, as far as I understand, so I don’t think it’s a bad sign, necessarily. The waiting is just hard.
