Borough of Manhattan Community College (BMCC) Spring 2021

Hi , Creating this thread for anyone applying for Spring 2021 at BMCC . I didn’t get in last round so will plan to sit the HESI in December hopefully . Not sure what my PCI is but I got A’s in everything except AP1 which I got a B in . Please share tips or info so we can help each other . I’m in my 40’s and I’ve young kids so this is definitely a career change for me !

Did they have an 11am meeting this time? Seems like most of is got 6pm. 11am would have been better for us who work evenings.

Hey everyone. Mine is 6pm as well and 5 other friends as well 6pm. I was talking to my friend from Spring and she said is definitely the acceptance, because it was like that for her as well.

Last sem there was 11 and 6. So I assumed it would be the same

Yeah I remember that - I was thinking it was divided into day and evening calls but it seems to be only 1 call . I applied for day but have a 6 pm too . Oh well see you all tonight !!

congrats to everyone who was admitted for spr 21. Question for a few folks admitted to evening program. 

1) Is A&P II and microbio counted towards PCI for evening applicants?

2) Any info on (MODERATOR EDIT OF NAME) for microbio if you've taken her or heard about her?

3) What's BMCC nursing school tuition for evening applicants
 

4) Did you purchase any study books for the HESI exam?

And then just general info on scores/grades for those who were admitted in evening program. So far I've received CR for english, A in MAT 104 , A in chem, A in psych, A- in A&P I, A in A&P II and taking BIO 420 this semester. (I know I'm a bit early in commenting but trying to get a sense of what needs to be done)

Any fdback welcome and congrats again. Great news for the new year!

1) I applied for the day program, but as far as I remember,  both subject mentioned by you are counted towards PCI

4) I purchased the HESI book but I opened it once or twice.. What helped me study was my Anatomy notes, Math notes and Nursehub!

If I am not mistaken, all your grades for the prerequisites have to be letters to apply for the nursing program. Just to be sure, contact the nursing department and ask them!  Good luck to you!

Did you speak to your advisor as far as the CR? I know the Nursing program stated they wouldn’t be accepting any opt out grades. I hope they give you a chance. The last two semesters were hard as heck.
