Books for class

So I am starting nur 17 & 18 I wanted to know if we have to get all 7 books for nursing 18. also it says we have to wear white uniform but it can't be scrubs, then what do I wear?

Well if the books are listed as being required then yeah you need to get them.If you can't wear scrubs you need to find a uniform.

It might be helpful to post what school you are attending to get help from other students. If you have questions about the uniforms I would try to find someone already in the program to see what they wear, or call the school of nursing and ask.

I go to Kingsborough, yeah doesn't make sense white uniform but not scrubs

Why does it not make sense? They just want uniforms instead.

They mean that they have a specified uniform. Did you have your orientation?

We had to wear creased white pants or a white skirt with white tights scrub pants not acceptably and a white button down shirt with blue piping and the school logo on a patch. We had an optional short royal blue lab coat with patches that could be worn. We were told which brands were acceptable as some brands did not make men's pants or had limited sizing so we had a choice of 2 or 3 brands and were told which uniform stores offered the appropriate uniform. We wore royal blue scrubs for clinical lab and had a little more leeway with those. ( of course now that I graduated Walmart carries the proper shade of scrubs for $6!)

Oh okay, just didn't know of any other uniform besides scrubs for nurse, yea that what I need thank you! :)
