Hey y'all, yesterday I went to orientation & let me tell you I had a headache leaving lol. We received our booklist & the total was $794 . Which is crazy. I found all the books on amazon new for around $320 with shipping!! But I looked on Facebook to see was anyone selling books & I found a girl who was in the program this semester & withdrew she had mainly all the needed books although a few where a semester older. Do y'all think it's okay to buy books a semester older? The books I'm talking about are Tabers Cyclopedic Dictionary & Medical Terminalogy A body system approach . Suggestions?

I bought all of my books first semester and have only done it once since (a med-surg book that we need for 2nd and 4th semester). I have rented all of the other books from Amazon.
Yeaa my program is only a year (LPN) so the books we buy we use that whole program.

I would make sure that all the books had unused access codes to them, but other then that, the edition number shouldnt really matter.

Tabor's not going to change much. It is medical dictionary. It may have one or two different words out of thousands. You could spend days trying to find the difference (unless they list them in the preface).
