Blinn ADN Fall 2020

I am applying to Blinn's ADN program for the Fall 2020 semester! I want to create this thread to see who else is applying with me! I am super nervous but also excited! T-minus 2 months until acceptance letters go out!

I’ve asked them about it before and they said I could retake it but they would average the 2 grades. So if I retook it and got an A then it would average out to a B. I calculated it and I would still get 1 more point if I retake them though.

Do you think that they will start pulling people off the waitlist after the 5th? The deadline for people to accept being on the waitlist is April 24th so I wonder how they’re going to do it.

Okay, I apologize. I have no idea where April 5th came from. I'm replying off my work computer and it's stupid sometimes.. The deadline to have everything turned in after being accepted is April 24th.

Oh okay. I wonder if they have to wait until the 24th after everyone has responded. That would be awesome if they start pulling people off the waitlist as people deny their spot that were accepted.

They only sent us one thing to fill out and send back for now - either to accept their offer to the program or to decline. I'm sure if they have people decline, they will start pulling people. If they take up to 20 people, you still have a chance!!

I’m hoping and praying they took more people off the waitlist this semester!!

That's one question that I did not ask, but I'm assuming it's at least 20 people since they stated that they have pulled as many as 20 people off the alt list before. I agree - they only give very brief answers and don't offer any additional info. I wish there were more people on this feed that may be able to provide more info or maybe someone who had been on an alt list in previous years.

I just wanted to know if there’s 20 people or more on the waitlist. I just don’t want to be the last one on the list ? Yeah, I wish there were more people on this feed too. I’ve looked at previous feeds for other semesters for the Blinn nursing program and there were a lot more people on them.

So I was looking at the class and I was wondering when the class would start? After you pay do you just start right away? And how long is the class? Also, did Blinn accept those credits without any issues? Sorry I have so many questions LOL

As soon as you pay, the class opens! It’s a self paced course, which is great! They assign you an instructor (I never even talked to mine) that grades your work! I took 3 weeks to complete mine, but you can take longer if you need! Like I said, it’s completely self paced!

Blinn accepted the credit with no issue at all! I just included the transcript with my application!

You completed it so fast! I hope I can do it fast too. That sounds great! What kind of work did you do for that class? Were there any tests?
That’s good that Blinn accepted it! Did you just print an unofficial transcript from the website after you took it?
