Blinn ADN Fall 2020

I am applying to Blinn's ADN program for the Fall 2020 semester! I want to create this thread to see who else is applying with me! I am super nervous but also excited! T-minus 2 months until acceptance letters go out!

Just curious .. because we were so close in stats it seemed like .. do you know what your overall applicant score was?

No, but I asked what number I was on the waitlist.

I asked too. I also asked how many alternatives they take on average and I was told anywhere from 3 - 20 each semester. Do you know anything about being offered acceptance into the following semester if you don't get a spot from the alt. list?

I was thinking the same thing! I’m not sure what happens if we don’t get a spot for Fall 2020. Do you know what number you are?

I'm #14 on the list. I asked about having an auto spot in Spring 2021, but I was told you have to reapply (if you don't make it off of the alternatives list) and they will send you instructions.

I am number 15 on the list. We must have really similar applications. They told you they will send instructions? Wouldn’t we just have to reapply the same way we applied before?

I've emailed three times and the info is very brief, unfortunately. Maybe the application process is a little more simple since they already have our information, but who knows.

When y'all emailed about being on the alternate list, did either of you find out what the lowest and average scores taken were? I'm curious ... AND knowing that could help y'all improve your next application if you don't get in to the Spring 2021 semester!

They told me they accept 5-20 people from the waitlist each semester. I hope I get in this time or else I’ll have to apply for the third time ?

I didn’t ask about that. I just asked for the breakdown of my points and my number on the waitlist. We are on the waitlist for Fall 2020 though, not Spring 2021. If we don’t get in for Fall 2020 we will have to reapply for the Spring 2021 semester.
