Blinn ADN Fall 2020

I am applying to Blinn's ADN program for the Fall 2020 semester! I want to create this thread to see who else is applying with me! I am super nervous but also excited! T-minus 2 months until acceptance letters go out!

I don’t really have any other options. I can’t move and I don’t want to drive a long way. So Blinn is really my only option.

I didn’t ask about that. I just asked for the breakdown of my points and my number on the waitlist. We are on the waitlist for Fall 2020 though, not Spring 2021. If we don’t get in for Fall 2020 we will have to reapply for the Spring 2021 semester.

I would definitely ask about points though! I asked about previous semesters before I applied and it helped me figure out a round-a-bout of where I needed to be and I got accepted based on that!

That bonus class was worth it too, I think!!

I remember when I applied last time they said that they accept people that have at least 31 points but I will ask about previous semesters. Where did you take Patho again? I remember you took it online and it wasn’t very hard. Was the class expensive to take? I will probably take it if I have to apply again.

I had a 28.9. I wonder if we will still get notified if we didn’t make it from the alternate list or we just never hear anything back and just assume we didn’t get in.

Hmm.. I thought our stats were pretty similar when we talked a few weeks ago!

I looked back at everything and I got 2 A’s, 3 B’s and 2 C’s on the prerequisites. Those C’s are what hurt me I think because I got a 84 on the TEAS and got a point for every section. It’s just so disappointing!!

I know it's disappointing! If you don't get selected from the alternate list, I would definitely look into that Patho class (bonus point, can't go wrong) and maybe study super hard for the TEAS and try making an A!

Yeah I will for sure take Patho. I will either retake the TEAS to try and get an exemplary score or I will retake the 2 classes that I got C’s in. We’ll see though!

You may ask about retaking classes! I know some programs only count a retake course grade in your GPA if the first grade was lower than a C...
