Birth Control

Just a quick question: Is it possible to miss a period while taking birth control pills if you aren't pregnant.

Featured Replies

yes, it is possible, particularly when just starting. But as in anything else, if you have doubts, please seek advice/care of your family dr or OB. Good luck.

Hey thanks, yah it's my 3rd month of taking them, so maybe my body still isn't used to it.......

Some of the newer pills (Camilla? comes to mind) work like Depo - you take them all month (no placebo week) and eventually get no period (woohoo! for some people - unnerving for others.) As Deb indicated, call your provider for questions about your specific situation.
