I have to get my science classes done as quickly as possible.
I was thinking about taking Princip of Biology & General Chem I at the same time this spring.
Anyone done this? I got a A in College Algebra. I had biology and chem in high school but that was 20 plus years ago. I took Nutrition and Public Health Microbiology for my bachelors and got an A and B. I am not worried about the biology, but the Chemistry is a different story.:uhoh21:
Any advice?

I am also taking Bio and Chem next semester. I believe you should be fine if you did well with College Algebra. Having a strong math background helps.
I actually went to the local library to look up a chemistry textbook to borrow before the new semester starts.
Keep this post going and stay in touch, perhaps we can help each other along!

I'm doing it right now :) I'm in Princip of Biology (Bi211) and General Chem (Ch 221). I had bio and chem in high school over 20 years ago.
It's doable....I don't do much of anything else though :) I have a crazy amount of homework for Chemistry...it turns into 20 or so pages a week of work.....and of course it's all math. It's not that it's terribly difficult, it just requires time to practice. So far I have an A in both....hopefully that will be a trend that continues
Best of luck!!!

I'm currently doing this, too. Biology and Chemistry 112, both with labs. It's a LOT of work, but taking them at the same time really helps understanding each, since there is so much overlap between the two. I didn't take any other classes and am really, really busy right now between homework and papers for essentially four classes (the labs are part of each class, but they each have their own reading assignments and homework and quizzes that are separate from the Bio and Chem classes), but I'm understanding a lot and getting a strong A in Bio and a high B in Chem (working on getting that one up if I can). Be prepared for a lot of work, but it's definitely doable.
