Together? Would you take these two science courses together? They are both pre-req courses and are suggested together for the first semester of pre-nursing classes.
Biology is a pre-req at our college for Microbiology.

I am taking Biology right now along with a pre reg math class. But I am also 35 weeks pregnant with my second child, but if I didn't have children, which I don't know if you do, I think it might not be bad together. Biology is pretty easy, but I've heard mixed things about AP. It just depends on your strengths and weakness.

I just dropped a & p I but I was taking them both together. It was a lot. You can pm if you want to know more about it since we are talking about the same school. O

I didn't find Bio 1 easy at all, but it was also my first science class in almost 2 decades. Bio 1&2 provide a good foundation for A&P.. If it's your first introduction into the subject.. and you have to take both.. I'd wouldn't take them together.
However, if you have done well with sciences in the past and don't find the materiel completely foreign.. taking them together won't be too big a deal.

I took organic chemistry, microbiology, Physiology and anatomy of invertebrates and Ecology in one semester. It was not too bad. I think it can be done.

If it is your first science course in a long time, I would take the biology by itself. My college has "Biology for the health technologies" and it is a prereq to take Anatomy and Physiology. It is recommended at my school that you take Anatomy and Physiology I and II before taking Microbiology. I think Biology taught me the basics, like cellular and chemical functions that helped me through Anatomy. At my school, you have to take biology first, but I can say that it is possible that those two courses could be taken together, but it would not be ideal. I really felt that biology was a building block for anatomy, so that you can understand the physiology aspect of the course.

Are you good at science? I took Bio 1 over the summer of 2009, but I had had it already in high school. Not as detailed, but I had heard of the general concepts before, I just wanted to re-take it for a better grade, and good foundation. In high school I didn't pay much attention in bio class so it was a good idea for me to start over from the bottom. A&P 1 was a hard earned A. I took it with chemistry. If you can equate bio 1 with something like chemistry, then I think you can do it. In fact, the first part of A&P 1 is a bio 1 review, so a lot of the concepts will overlap or be reinforced.

It can be done biology has always been one of my favorites and easyfor me I took it with no book and studied in the library. If sciences has always Been one of your sting points then I'm sure you'll be fine.
