When I had called last week, they said decisions go out in February. I hope that's not actually the case but he did repeat that its February.

That's weird that they would tell us two different things! I'm hoping for December (or earlier) but if we don't hear by then I'll keep this in mind and try not to lose hope...

hey everyone! im just finishing up my application and im already so nervous! does anyone have a general idea on how many students will get accepted to the BAT program?

Any Bing alums applying? I signed on to my BU Brain and under "transfer summary for students" I saw my nursing prereqs from other schools updated there. Not sure if that means anything. This wait is pure torture

Good luck to all who have applied! On my end, I applied two weeks after the application opened up. By mid-September they received all my required documents. However, I am so nervous because I am currently working on completing 4 of the 12 prerequisite courses. I have two in progress which will be completed by Dec 2019 and two that won't be completed until May 2020 ? I am not sure if they will give me a decision at the end of Dec/early Jan being that there will still be 2 prerequisites courses pending. I asked about it and they mentioned as long as they are in progress and completed before May I should be ok! (But really what does that even mean). Yet, I am not sure how my decision would play out! Super nervous ? ? ?

I have all my re reqs completed but i do have a C- in chem 1 so i dont know if ill even get considered into the program because of that grade. Im really hoping i am as this school is my number 1 choice ?

I completed my application on October 1st and I am anxiously awaiting a decision. Binghamton is my first choice so I would love to get in there. Today I noticed that I have to submit a transfer course progress report on the status checker page. I still have two prerequisites to complete. By the way, best wishes everyone!

@schan006 I don’t think they will necessarily disqualify you being that you have to have an overall GPA of 3.0 and no grade lower than a C-. Chemistry sucks !!!! I got the same grade and taking Chemistry II now ! Don’t doubt yourself you never know!

@Kellaboo Good luck to you ! If you don’t mind me asking, exactly when will you be done with your prerequisites courses. I have 4 more to complete ? 2 by December and 2 by May 2020. I’m nervous being they haven’t asked me for a progress report as of you.

I submitted everything by 10/1 and I’m finishing my last prereq in December. They haven’t requested for my progress report either as of now. I’m not sure if that’s a good or bad sign ?

Just a reminder for everyone to complete the Decker College of Nursing and Health Sciences - Pre-Requisite Form through the PODS system/application portal if you haven't already!! The application deadline is November 15 so I am assuming that's when the sheet has to be complete too. Crossing my fingers for all of us that we hear positive news soon ?
