Binghamton BAT 2020-2021

Updated:   Published

Hey everyone! Just got the email that my application and transcripts have all been received for the class beginning May 2020. Now I just have to wait for my admissions decision (the worst part!!). Anybody else applying, or have applied, to Binghamton for May? Good luck to you all! ?

Hi!, My school only offered to send it via paper mail so that is what I did. Also if you have any courses in progress, they did not require enrollment verification or an unofficial transcript, just the official when the course is done. I guess you could call Binghamton to see if there is an email they have to accept transcript pdfs.

Yes it does! I also called them to make sure that was not a mistake and they said that all the BAT applicants have fall 2020 on there but they know that the program starts in May.

Thanks so much for clarifying! They do have an email for PDFs but when I’m ordering transcripts I’m unsure how to email it to them because i can only choose PDF to their undergraduate admissions. Would I have to send an official PDF to myself then email it to them myself?

Hmm it definitely can't go to yourself because that would make it unofficial. So it must be to the email they gave you. But call on Monday to make sure!

Hi guys! I’m about to apply to the accelerated nursing program at Binghamton & am a little confused how to apply. I went through the common app and filled everything out, then on the “questions” page,” for the question, what program are you interested in, nursing was not even an option. Can anyone help me out with this?! Thank you!!

So I also had difficulty because I first went through the all the other application options and found that the SUNY application is the easiest one to use. For the SUNY app you just have to pick the term as fall 2020. Other than that it’s way simpler and straightforward than the other options (I literally filled out both other application options and couldn’t get it to work either). It worked for SUNY.

Thank you!!! That was much easier.

So much easier. As soon as I saw one of them required some weird additional essay I was like next ?

Hi, everyone. I have a quick question about the application status. I wonder if anyone can help to answer it. I applied to binghamton in 2017, but i did not get in, so i reapply this year. When i check my online status, the transcripts status still showed as receiving on 2017. I called the administration office, they told me that my recent transcripts have been received on 10/3/2019 and asked me to wait. However, until now, the status still keeps the same. I wonder if it is normal that transcript status does not update since i already apply for this school before. Thanks

anyone hear back yet by chance? Saw a previous cycle start hearing back as soon as now or 1-2 weeks from now. Also doesn’t anyone know if Binghamton has critical care rotations? Thx

I saw that too...But I emailed my admissions counselor and he didn't think they'd start releasing decisions until December. I'm trying not to think about it until then so I don't go crazy anxiously waiting to hear back!

I too emailed my counselor but no reply ? I hope we are able to hear back sooner I need to know next month if possible which is driving me even crazier.

I have a feeling we'll probably start hearing soon (same as the last few years). I'm hoping we start hearing close to the application deadline. I'm applying to Utica as well which has rolling admission and you have to pay a deposit within 20 days of their decision. Hoping to hear from Binghamton before that since it's my top choice and I don't want to pay the Utica deposit if I don't have to...
