BHSN: Applying to Bridgeport Hosp for Fall 2013

Hi All,

I thought I would start a new topic for those of us who are planning to apply to BHSN's Nursing program for the Fall 2013.

I will get things started with my stats (which aren't great...but not too terrible!):

TEAS - 78% (planning to re-take)

GPA - 3.2 (currently)

I also applied to GWCC and Southern, so hopefully I will get into one of these programs!

I was away from this forum for a couple days, and I see that more people got accepted! CONGRATS EVERYONE!!!! :D

Cant wait to meet you all! :)

Hey everyone! I have been reading this forum for a couple months now but I finally decided to join. I was accepted to BHSN back in february but was wondering if anyone has recieved thier orientation packet yet in the mail? I'm getting anxious.

ARenee13: Not yet, I believe they have yet to send out all decision letters. But they should send them out by mid May.

Did anyone hear back about the disabled accounts? I just tried logging in and it wouldn't let me, Im a little worried.

Jessica77, did you try to log in as a student? shortly after you are accepted you can use the same login and password in the student tab instead of the applicant tab.

Jessica77: My student account was activated after they received my deposit. When my applicant account was disabled I called BHSN and the secretary told me that if you type your user name or password wrong 3 times it disables your account.

Hi everyone. Just FYI, I had to call BHSN today and happen to ask them when the orientation packets were going out. She told me they are hoping to have them sent out in the next couple of weeks. :)

I hope they are sent out next week. :no: wishful thinking. Im still not sure if i got in for partial evening or day.

I did it and I see that mine says DAY... I guess it means I didnt get the evening program, right? :(

Yes mine says Day too. I was really hoping for Evening, but of course I'm happy to be accepted. I'm also wondering about Microbiology. I've taken it already and it just makes the requirement of 7 years? I'm hoping I won't have to retake it, i'd really like to save the cash if I can. No clue how or where I'll be working come Fall.
