Hi-
I am about to buy my white shoes and was wondering what the most comfortable ones are? They have ti be all white or at least almost all white. Any thoughts?

I bought white New Balances at Kohl's and I've used them through my past 2 clinicals and I'm on to my third- they are great- very comfy and my feet don't hurt after being on them the whole shift. I've heard Dansko's are a must-have, but they are really expensive, so I'll treat myself after graduation-- but for now, my 40 dollar New Balances are super comfy. Good luck with clinicals!!

I bought $11 athletic works shoes at wal-mart. I had clogs but they were killing my feet. I know it doesnt seem like they would be comfortable because they are $11 and they are from wal-mart, but I have worked in the health field for over two years and have worn MANY different kinds of shoes, and these feel like you are walking on air! if they were cuter i would wear them more often!!!

I worked in the hospital for 7 years and 2 years of clinicals in nursing school and for my feet (everybody is different, as you already know), I love Cobbie Cuddlers from the Big K....I know, they don't seem that they would be great but they are. I had everyone in my last clinical rotation going out to buy them.

I've got a pair of all white Nikes and a pair of all white Sketchers and I love them both. Bought them at Kohl's on sale.

Spring Step "greta" clogs. Bought them at life uniform-- they're just like dansko's but they're about 50 bucks instead of over 100. Plus I thought the soles were a lot more comfy than dansko's when I tried them on.

I bought some all white Nike's at Kohl's cheap and they are NOT comfy for me. I'll wear them because they're paid for, but I regret not spending more money. Ouch!

I don't know how much you are looking to spend but FYI I think zcoils would be a great investment probably not until after graduation. I plan on getting some after graduation because they are $250 so for this year while I am in the poor house I will stick with crocs & airmaxes. I know it sounds like alot, but they are worth it you should check out their site to see the benifits (don't know it off had try google). They are ugly but they will save you from having back, foot, & varicose veins problems alot of nurses face. Good Luck!!!
I am not too worried about the money. I just already have bad feet and back issues that I will pay the cash if they work! Does that make sense? I have flat feet and I am on the heavy side and when I am on my feet too long (over 8 hours) I am in pain--feet burn and everything.
Thanks!
Then zcoils definitely would be a great investment. I first found out about them when I was waitressing I never knew how bad their bodies were from walking. A lady told me about them after she too had many problems, but now she is doing wonderful. I wanna get them to prevent problems. Alot of people that have slipped discs wear them and depending how severe your back and feet problems are your insurance may pay for them depending on your doctor. They won't tell you this, you have to ask and dig deep. They are customed to fit your feet and your specific problem they last a lifetime. Anything goes wrong with them they fix it.
