I cant really say there is a best way to study because everyone has their way of studying that works for them. I will say review EVERYDAY..DO NOT wait till the last minute to study and try not to study late at nite unless you have to(due to work, family, etc.) Use visuals, highlighters, flash cards. Try by all means if you can to not get behind. You already mentioned alot of material so I am pretty sure you understand the importance of staying on top of the work. Pay attention in class dont just write notes, listen!! Thats bout it that I can think of. You will learn your own style and what works best for you. Good luck!

Answering lots of nclex style questions helped me alot for taking exams. Doing the objectives helped me to understand the information. Listening to my digital recorder that had lectures and notes on it, helped me to retain the information. I also kept up on my readings, and reviewed the powerpoints daily ! Study groups also helped. I passed fundamentals with a B, so I guess I did something right ! However, don't take it lightly... I've known lots of nursing students who did not pass fundamentals. So please study your Butt off.

I got a B and I just read the material, did the end of chapter questions and study guide questions, then read the material again the weekend before the test. A classmate gets straight As and does chapter outlines for every chapter, but I have yet to find a way to do it where I don't fill a whole notebook for every week's worth of chapters.

this is what i was having a problem with. Theres so much info, more than right answer to test questions- Id suggest buying study guide that goes along with your book- they have them online. I also, the day before my final, found practice tests in a book called TEST SUCCESS- You could specify what chapters you wanted to be tested on, how many questions- it rerally helped me figure out why one answer was "more" right than the other one. Make sure you read, because its alot of info if you fall behind- and good luck!
