I felt the same way like you. I decided to give Truett McConnell a try. Doing the religion classes was not as bad as they seem. It is just like going to another college and you have to Chemistry 2 which they don't require the additional Psy which they don't require. I had a 74 on ATI and it was accepted. It is a new program and they will be more accommodating that a more established school. I went there and like waht I saw and there and I am in . I did all their religion classes in one semester.

I work in a large city hospital and presently they are not hiring. The last time they hired someone on my floor was last year July. We have had a few nurses that have left since and they are still not rehiring. They are filling the positions with internal candidates only. However by law the are required to post the positions. You might see positions available and you apply for the jobs and you will get a response from HR saying you are not qualified or position is filled. The decision not to hire is coming from upper management. I hope this helps.

I failed one of my theory class in final semester. I attend a college in Georgia. Can I transfer to another college to complete. I have already applied to a two yr college to do my RN, do I forget about LPN and focus on RN.

Another qtr. is over. I am moving on to Med Surg 2. Finally I can see a light at the end of the tunnel. It was lot of work. Lots of hard work. But I made it.

For drug calculation the only thing you can do is practice practice practice and remember your formulas and everything will fall into place.

I am having a hard time trying to make the info I study stick. I did my first test and I failed:cry:. I know I can do the work, however I am trying not to get discourage. Any advice.

You have drug cal 2 days along with Fundementals lecture and lab and clinical skills 3 days a week. Drug calculation you need to work at it. If you have probs go to the lab for help, The tutor is great. Very good program if you work very hard. Don't take other students opinion on the program. Go in with an open mind. Work hard you can do it.

Fundementals and drug calculation is finally over. It was a challange but I made it. Moving on to Med Surg 1. There were times that I wanted to quit but I hung in there. I passed and I am moving on.:yeah:

For those who have been through fundementals. Is there a best way to study. There is so much material to grasp.
