Best way to Group study for the Hesi and or NCLEX

What is the best way to Group study for the Hesi and or NCLEX that will be beneficial?

My personal experience was that group study was never beneficial. Too much time was wasted in small talk and often little to nothing was accomplished. You probably would better spend your time attending a formal review or studying on your own.
