It is customary even on Sundays, to find a bar/restaurant a few miles from your hospital. After a rough night or day, treat yourself! You can gain a comrade from work, and ease a bit of tension from your shift! Breakfast and mimosas are such a treat after a long night!

Never pass up an opportunity to pee!

Never lend your stethoscope to a doctor.

Be confident patients can smell fear!!

Remember to take care of yourself. You are not in any condition to care for others if you, yourself are not taken cared of.

Remember to practice self care regularly. Whether that is a day with Netflix on the couch, spending time with family and friends, or going to a coffee shop with a good book, taking care of yourself is paramount. You can't take care of others if you're not nurturing yourself too!

Remember to take care of you! Giving excellent care requires excellent self care!
