Best Review Book for School/NCLEX

Nursing Students Student Assist

Published

Im looking for a good review book to help me study for tests while also preparing me for NCLEX. I hear really good things about Saunders and the Mary Ann Hogan books. In my program we were required to purchase the Davis review book..I have maybe opened it once, I just haven't heard much about it. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

I don't know who you were addressing, but after switching to PREP-U my nursing program now has a 100% pass rate on the NCLEX. All of our new grads pass on the first try.

I am only in the second semester of my first year, but I am always doing the PREP-U questions in my free time. There are also many PREP-U's available for a lot of the nursing text books.

I have PREP-U for my Smeltzer med/surg book and for my Fundamentals of Nursing textbook. It has been wonderful for test prep.

hey i would love to know more about this program. i looked it up on amazon but it has a negative review... would you say the questions are harder than saunders? does it include "select all that apply" questions? those are the ones which i am most interested in. thanks =)

Head to your public library and check some out or flip thru them to see which ones suits you best.

BTW, I prefer SAUNDERS - our school uses it as a framework for lectures, and we have a pretty good pass rate with the recommendation
