JUST DOING A LOT OF QUESTIONS

Hi fawnmarie, thank you for your response!

I used hurst and thought it was amazing in covering core content (it basically summed up my BSN program I feel like). I don't believe core content is the problem, I do well with it.

I feel that I just don't know how to strategize when taking the nclex especially the SATA, and priority. .

Hi ~ I used all the resources you listed. I felt each resource had a bit different information (i.e. some resources were more concise/narrow whereas others were broad and gave additional examples/detail - HURST vs. Kaplan vs. Saunders vs. NCSBN) and a few helped more with strategies and questions (i.e. NCSBSN and Kaplan). La Charity was excellent for priority/delegation - knowing the roles of RN/LVN/UAP are crucial for NCLEX. The 35 page study guide on allnurses (especially infection control) helped with infection/contact precautions (as well as NCSBN). Together, all contributed to me passing NCLEX.

Hi yedwards42! Thank you so much for your input. Yes, I can agree with what your saying in regards to each offering something different that is helpful in taking the nclex.

I've heard so much great things about kaplan. I'm gearing towards using the question bank of kaplan and ncbsn to study for my exam. I have used hurst and pda in the past so I'll just refresh when need to.

Thank you again :)
