Well I graduated from Concorde in North Hollywood a few years ago. I overall had a great experience with the school. The instructors in theory were fair and the clinical instructors were helpful. A friend of mine first attended Casa Loma in Van Nuys and ended up quiting and going to Concorde. So, I don't know if Concorde is "the best", but it worked out for me.
I completed Casa Loma College's LVN program at their Van Nuys campus in 2005.

Hi... I just joined the forum because I enrolling in a LVN course. I eventually want to become an RN.
I am presently exploring Concorde in North Hollywood, can anyone who has attended expand on their experience with the school; the clinicals and job placement percentage.
Thanks so much in advance!

Casa Loma college is good, They are more professional than marianc college.
Based from my friends who went to casa loma and preferred college of nursing, and a friend who went to casa loma and concorde (they both failed at casa loma), casa loma is better. He said at Preferred, they just make u pass, but will u pass the boards??

Okay, thanks - so Casa Loma on Kester is good? I need to go check them out. I haven't looked into Marian (on Sepulveda) or Maric (which turned into Kaplan - I think).
I know that most are 12 months; do you know of any that are 9months?
Preferred is the one at BofA, right?
Thanks in advance
no. theres no 9 months available that I know of. I don't think so. Because 12 months is full time. Preferred is in Panorama. Not sure exactly where, you can google it
My vote again is for Concorde, my expericence looking back was great. Would choose that school again, unless I lived closer to American Career in LA, only then because of West Coast U.

I went to Marian College in Van Nuys. The school is good. The teachers are supportive. I recently passed my NCLEX and very happy I got through it.
Hi, how much was Marian College? Is that the school that does their clinicals at the Windsor rehab facility on Sepulveda?
