Were you an LPN first and how hard was it?

Darton College in Albany,Georgia has a bridge program and I am not really sure about the other parts of your question. Good Luck!

Thanks for the info Boosheboo, I will check them out as well.

Good luck to you too.

Find one fast(anyone)! You may have to do LPN-BSN. Georgia is getting rid of most of their LPN-RN programs(most are ending at the end of 2009). go to the Georgia state web-site. They will give you a list of nursing schools. I hope everything goes while.

Abraham Baldwin College in Tifton has a bridge program. I know their ADN program is challenging, but excellent.

Thanks Moga.

I will check out Abraham Baldwin College in Tifton's Bridge Program.

Do you go there and is there a waitlist?

I did go there, but I didn't go through the bridge program because I wasn't an LPN before. There isn't a waitlist that I know of, per se, because you are admitted based on GPA. How ever many they are accepting while be chosen by the highest GPAs. There is a waitlist of people to get into the program that rolls over from semester to semester, but they are not chosen over new applicants with higher GPAs. Hope that makes sense. I loved the program. It's demanding, but you learn a lot. If you contact the school, they should be able to give you a lot of information. Either way, I hope you find the right school for you! If you need anything, just ask!

North Georgia College has an LPN-RN bridge program.

South Ga College in Douglas Ga is a good school they don't have a waiting list, no interview and you get in by GPA. Their website is http://www.sgc.edu

I'm applying to ABAC and they go by GPA also. Their website is www.abac.edu they are closer for me and it is only one day a week

I start my last semester of NS this fall at ABAC in Tifton, GA. I could not have asked for a better experience than what I've had so far. I'm in the traditional program, but I know students in the bridge program and they speak very highly of it. If I had it all to go over again, I would have got my LPN and then bridged through like many of them are. You only attend class one day per week and will have your RN in one year.

If you have any questions about the program, this is the number directly to the Nursing Division at ABAC: 229-391-5020
