Hi,
I am beginning to look for a new job and I have about 2.5 years experience. When looking for a new grad job I mostly used Indeed.com. I have tried others like monster.com and simplyhired.com but almost everything that comes up is a travel assignment or a temp job and I am looking for a FT permanent position. Any tips to filter these types of jobs out? What are your favorite search engines for finding a new job? Thanks!

Hi there,
This site is worth checking out: Top 50 Nursing Jobs Sites Worth Bookmarking | The Web Nurse
As it says, there are 50 job sites on there. But don't rely on job boards too much. I spent weeks doing stuff online, then emailing/calling the recruiter, but getting negative responses. I also sent out a hard copy of my resume to several places and called to follow up to no avail. The very first place I went to in person with my resume (no appointment, even!), I was given an offer and hired on the spot.
Good luck in your endeavors!

Indeed is what I used exclusively as a search engine. I also Googled hospitals in the area I was interested in and went the hospital's website.

I've always had the best luck with the hospitals' websites, since they will usually have the listings before the job search engines do. Plus the listings will be the most current.

Indeed.com has gotten me several interviews and offers from all of them. It's legit. And if you don't want to post your resume, just apply to the jobs you're interested in.

I don't use search engines unless I am looking for agency/temp/travel work.
Your best bet is to search area hospitals/facilities/wherever you want to work, go to their website, and follow their guidelines for submission.
Hospital recruiters rarely have to go to the extra step of posting on a job board for choice positions.
