Best Drug App

I'm not sure if anyone else does this, but I sometimes find itĀ helpful to have a drug reference app on my phone. Does anybody have one they can recommend? I use Epocrates, which is useful but doesn't always have the info I need.

What kind of info do you need and in what context will you be using it?

I just need mechanism of action, IV compatibility, adverse effects, that sort of thing. I would love a description of the drug as well, but that is hard to find in my experience.

I don't know of good free apps with the all the info you're talking about. The main ones I know about are $40-50 or more as far as IV nursing drug info (such as Gahart's or similar); that seems like a lot of money to spend when EMRs pretty much have direct access to drug references now.

Do you not have access to Lexicomp or similar in real time through your EMR?
