Best suggestion is to look at www.rent. com and you can get specifics about the area and the costs. I would start with that, but be prepared for shell shock if you have not already been pricing things in the area.
There are also areas that are further out where you can ride the BART to work, and get apts for a cheaper and more affordable rate. The northern part of San Mateo is an easy commute to that facility. Rapid transit in this area is quite good.

Hello to all!!
I was wondering what are the best areas to live that are close to UCSF Medical Center and good to raise two boys. I am looking for a two bedroom apartments to rent. Any information that you can give would be greatly appreciated.
