Bergen Community Nursing Day 2014

Published

Hello. Is anyone else in the process of trying to get into the Bergen Community College day program for 2014?

No periodic table :-(.

How is everyone doing on their HESI???

Good luck to everyone taking the test tomorrow!!!! :) - I believe it's the last day.

I just checked the HESI class averages for "fun." Bio (71) Chem (73) Reading Comp. (77) Grammar (80) Vocab (77) and Math (80) comes to a score of 76.

Anybody going to the scholarship meeting tomorrow evening?

Hello Everyone,

Just took the Hesi exam today and I got an overall score of 83. Really hoping it's enough to get into the program. :-(

I think you and I will be okay mg85!!! Hang in there ;-)

Thanks for the encouragement Carolina. I'm just a nervous wreck! lol

I'm almost certain you'll get in based on your score. I was hoping to get a high 80 like yourself, but I only studied for 3 days so I guess I got exactly what I put in. :/

I hope these next couple of weeks come quickly. Based on other forums, acceptance notifications were sent out within 2 weeks of the last day of testing.

Best of luck! :-)

hello everyone, I'm taking the test tomorrow in NY at 8:30am so I should be sleeping right now but I simply cannot. I also studied only for like the last 5 days but ill do my best. Hope i can get a high score and finally make my dream come true. night night everyone......

I'm so nervous :(

Good luck Iterrones1123!!! Make sure to eat breakfast. Just take your time and do not rush.

Hi, can you tell me how many questions are there per section, more or less? I'm taking it today at 2pm.

Good luck!!!!!

Good Luck! Let us know how it went.

Jay,

For Math, Reading, Vocabulary and Grammar there were about 55 questions per section. Bio and Chem had 30 each section, and the personality tests had about 15 each.

I personally felt exhausted midway through. It just seemed like so much. I would definitely recommend going in refreshed and alert.

Just an FYI- I took my exam in Fair Lawn and decided to wear a sweater just in case it got chilly, but that wasn't the case. The room was actually very warm with poor circulation so I decided to take my sweater off. Huge mistake, soon after one of the proctors comes in and tells me I have to wear it or put it back in my locker while the clock kept running. I would have considered if it weren't for all the security measures they put you through as you are coming into the testing room. I wanted to make sure I had enough time to complete everything so to say the least I wasn't very comfortable.

Just a tip. Best of luck!
