Bergen Community College Nursing Evening 2015

Hey everyone, I know its early but I was just wondering who was going to apply for the 2015 Evening Nursing program. I have attempted to apply for the 2014 day program but was denied due to the fact that my "Chemistry" prerequisite class was unacceptable. Anyways, I was hoping we could all help each other out when the time comes.

yoonjmp - I know it's very scary! But I'm in the same kind of predicament here in FL...I plan to start in January and it's a day time program that doesn't allow you time for a job so I'd be quitting my current Medical assistant/office manager position. I also don't know where I'd live if I stay bc I obliviously can't afford rent without a full time job >_

Jersey is a great opportunity for me in regards to my living situation, but if I need to take more classes that are bergen specific it would be nice to know so I can get them done before January.

riveraj8 - yeah I just applied and requested my school to send my transcripts earlier this week. I'm just hoping it's good enough so that I don't have to take additional classes. My semester starts the 25th and I'll be taking Microbiology and Nutrition, which I need for my future BSN if I stay here in Florida. Moving to Jersey was just suggested to me last week so now it's like eeeeeep I barely have time to make it work. If all goes well I want to apply to the evening class since Bergen only starts day courses in the fall and I'm obviously too late for that.

Mmmmm sounds like jersey is a better option in my opinion. Whatever option you choose, i wish you the best.

Hi, I received an email today for a background check. I filled out the form online and waiting to take the admissions exam. Has anyone else heard back?

I completed my background check. I am also waiting for clearance to register for the HESI exam.

riveraj8 that i know the deadline was Oct 1st not the 10th. I'm a BCC student and i already got my background check done just waiting for clearance.

no i'm not. i took a pre-req class there. I actually graduated from NJIT with my bachelors.

It seems Bergen is sending out emails in random bursts. Nothing here yet with an official clearance.

But I just completed my background check on Friday. Anyone else?
