Thanks for starting the new thread! I am 32 and live in Kirkland. I've been married 14 years this summer and we have 3 kids. Two boys ages 12 and 10 and a daughter who is 8. I have been working for the past 6 months as a CNA doing in home care.
I am still in shock about getting in for fall. I can't tell you all the times I felt like this was a hopeless cause. I took all my prereqs at Bellevue, finishing them last spring. Looking forward to meeting some of my other fall classmates. We are going to be spending a lot of time together!
I am in for Fall too! I am 22. i live on Capitol hill in Seattle. I work full time as a pt services rep at an eye clinic. i have been taking evening classes for 3 years to make this happen. this road was a long one, but we made it. Lets pat our selves on the back:)
Looking forward to meeting you all!
Hi everyone! I have been accepted for the Fall. I'm 22 years old and have a 3 year old daughter. I started my pre-reqs in the Fall of '09 and finished up this past Fall quarter. I've been working as a paralegal at a law firm, so this will be a completely new field for me, which I am very excited about :)
Oh yes, I live in Seattle.
Hi Ladies! I am also in for fall. What a relief! Most of my pre-reqs were expired everywhere except BC. I am 32 with 3 young kids, and live on the east side. Have you all finished the cna course already? I have to figure that out asap. I found a couple of weekend programs and I think I'm just going to sign up for one that starts soon and get it out of the way.
Looking forward to meeting everyone - orientation is just around the corner!
I am guessing that is what it is too. I finished setting up my bc email account and sent in my email to Chie. I did mention it in the email, so if I get an answer I will post it here. I am sure they are used to having eager students! I won't bother them again unless it doesn't work in the next week or so. If you get it to work, let us know too :)
Hola to all. I am also a Fall cohort admission... three girls, 19, 16, 8 ... After reading some of these posts, I am certain I have met some of you before.... in class? This is funny b/c there are no names... anyway, I am 44, hence the name, not hispanic, but studying Spanish feverishly.... This should be fun. I plan to work part time in school, I know it will be hard, but my health insurance rocks and I am afraid to lose it for uncertainty! I am married.
