Nurse2be, I actually posted about this book last summer. I think everyone in nursing should have to read this book! I even gave the title to the instructors for the cna students that come to our floor every semester. After 32 years as a nurse I found it to be so truthful and therefore so very, very sad. As nurses it is easy for all of us to get so focused on the technology of our world and just forget the very basics. I like to think that reading this book made me more aware of patients basic needs...but I also know that some days I just can't do it all and those basics are the "tasks" that get pushed by the wayside in the crunch.
Good luck with your new career! :)

I was just curious has anyone read the book "Bed Number Ten"... We are required to read it for class and do a report on it, and I was just curious as to what you thought about the book??
