Hi Im am dude and currently im a CNA student at a tech school. I love my classes. Lastnite night we went over CPR info. Fun stuff with the dummies lol. This is my after school plans:
Becoming a CNA for the rest of 2012, do CNA 2013 as well as schooling for LPN, LPN'ing 2014 as well as schooling for RN, 2016, become and RN and School for 2 mroe years so i can get a bsn! By the time i do all this, i should be around 23-25...yea! What do you all think? My mom is an ex LPN but she renewing it, Both of my Gmas were RN's... family of nurses seems like, Im the next RN!

Go for it :) When I started college at 18, I initially intended to just go straight for my RN/BSN, but I transferred to a community college, took some pre-reqs, got my CNA @ 19, worked & finished up some more pre-reqs.transferred back to a college @ 21, and then started an LPN program..just finished 2 weeks ago & waiting to take my boards :) Hopefully I get into my school's BSN program for the fall, and then next year I'll be an RN :) Good luck, you can do it!
I would try and apply to both LPN and RN. If you get in either, it's great! Better to have one than neither, right? My auntie did the CNA-LPN-RN-BSN path and it took her almost 8 years because the community college had a wait list at the time for the ADN program. :) Good luck to you.
